Right now I have a script that uses the 1Password CLI to help me do this, but it's hard to roll something like that out to the whole company and a lot less convenient than having it available in the 1Password GUI. I'd assume that 1Password could invoke something like that behind the scenes? It can handle several database types (postgresql, mysql, mssql, redshift, redis, mongo, etc). Then it will open a connection with those parameters in the TablePlus GUI.

TablePlus registers itself on macOS so that if you do something like this in a Terminal: open 'postgresql://username: :port/dbname'

We deal with a lot of different databases and it would be really handy if 1Password could provide an 'Open in TablePlus' button for Database items. socket, database name, username, and password into the MySQL Connection window.
